CONCERT

Concert Orchestra (Intermediate Orchestra) is the advanced large ensemble at Davidson.  While it is called “intermediate,” the repertoire is typically at the highest level designated by GMEA (Georgia Music Educators Association).  Students usually perform in the large ensemble, but there are units of chamber ensemble study and various alternate rehearsal strategies utilized.  As an advanced ensemble, there are more opportunities for working with guest musicians and performing in different venues as well as additional trips and workshops to attend.
